Essential Casio Calculator Skills is designed to help you to learn and develop your ability to use your Casio scientific calculator.

The course shows an older model of calculator that is still well used throughout the world. As such this course in now finalised & won't be updated further. Many of the skills are still relevant and transferable to models of calculator available today.

In this course, you will discover the features and functions and how they can help you with your mathematical learning. It can also help you to develop quick and efficient skills to help you in a mathematics exam. A calculator is typically the only piece of technology you are allowed in an exam, so it is up to you to know how you can get the best out of and achieve the results you want.

The course will cover an overview of the calculator and some of the easy and frequently used functions. In the course you will also explore different representations of numbers, namely fractions, decimals and percentages and how the calculator can change between them.

Finally, I will take you through the key set up feature of Math and Line mode as well as the different modes that the calculator has to offer.

About the calculator.

This course starts at the beginning and assumes that you have a Casio calculator or have regular access to one.

It is primarily designed for the FX-83GT Plus / FX-85GT Plus available in the UK. Similar textbook display or Natural V.P.A.M calculators are known by different codes around the world.
